Meet the FounderIntroducing the visionary that started the company from scratch back in November 2004. Laskasas' journey is rooted in the passion and ambition of Celso Lascasas, a dedicated craftsman whose passion for furniture-making began at the age of 14. From his German great-grandmother, whose arrival in Portugal in the 1920s marked the beginning of a family destined for greatness, Celso inherited her distinctive surname and a legacy of determination. Driven by a relentless determination to create a legacy, Celso, a humble craftsman, embarked on a mission to establish his own business in an industry he had devoted part of his life to master. This boundless passion and dedication became the foundation upon which Laskasas was born. Today, Celso's legacy continues to flourish under the leadership of his partner, Diana Lascasas. Together, they have turned Laskasas into a symbol of excellence and craftsmanship, where heritage meets innovation, and every piece tells a story of passion and dedication. |
